This book began to pour out of my soul while on the road in 2023. To say it was unexpected is putting it mildly.
An Ancient Revival isn’t what I thought I’d be writing first, in terms of a book-book. But as the inner (LGBT+) muse kept typing away as the weeks went on, it became something more than an outline or scenes here or there.
It became representation. It became a chance for LGBTQ+ folks to be supported and heard. And it became an opportunity for any of us, myself included, to realize the depths of our soul’s work in new ways.

A Brilliant Ride
Unpredictable and the type to give you an answer and 100 more questions, I found myself more and more drawn in… Characters are interesting and often relatable and the real meat of what’s going on has left me eagerly waiting for what’s coming next! I will be patiently waiting.

Complex women characters and queer love
I was lucky to read this book even before its official publication and it’s one of my favorite books of the year! V. James created an immersive story with complex and strong women in their own way, and it’s always a joy to read more queer stories where friendship, romance, and family all play a role in the characters’ arc.
Grab a hot beverage, a cozy blanket, your fur baby if you have one, and go enjoy this novel! I cannot wait to read the next installment, whenever it comes out!
