How Do You Know You’re “In the Flow” in Your Work and Life?

by | Jun 19, 2024 | Aligned Actions and Practices

Dear Wise Woman:

Sometimes when we feel out of alignment, we don’t even know where we’re going or what’s happening.

“I don’t know what to do.”

“I feel frazzled about next steps.”

How do we even know when we’re in our flow, when we feel like we’re drowning or inundated with stressful situations?

As a realistic optimist, I think we need to balance both. Balance the roles and the stress and also give space for the ah-has and moments where we see we’re flexible or buoyant.

And that’s about being in the flow, my friend.

Now let’s get into learning or noticing when you’re in the flow. ⤵️

Today’s post is about how you can know you’re in the flow. And I’ve shared what I feel, but there are many ways you can shift into this ease, stay in it, and more.

Here’s what you might notice:

  • The ease in which you’re doing something
  • Overthinking isn’t the mode of operation as much
  • And you might not be judging yourself as often or to such a degree

(And FYI: when I said “Quarter 4” I meant “Quarter 2!” Apparently, the year is just flying by!!)

Let’s Wrap This Wisdom Up:

Now, you tell me!

How do you know you’re in the flow of a work project, life role, etc.? What do you notice or pick up on?

Bonus tip: once you notice it, invite more of that flow, whether you’re doing your work, a business, or even mundane things like the dishes.

And if you want help on finding your flow and your purpose, you know where to find me! I believe in you 100% and am on the journey with you!🦄
