Rebranding, Redefining, and Reigniting

I’m smirking as I write these first few words, “I’m back.” And it’ll take more than a few posts to share what’s been building up (and out) on the backend and how I’ve been pivoting.

I thought I’d get you started with the first episode of the Sapphic Rising™ podcast. From here, I’ll drop each episode on the Blog and you’ll be able to tune into them directly.

So, what’s been happening behind the scenes?

It’s been a bucket full of work: sacred work, authentic unpacking, processing, and much more.

When 2024 ended in Q4 the way it did, it was (and has been) a moment in time where things seemed to stop. Many of us had to reflect deeply on the choices we make, why we do them, etc. And it’s not just on the individual level; it’s been happening on a collective level as well.

I asked myself all the questions, which can be summed up by, “What am I doing and why am I doing it?”

And what this reflecting brought to the surface has been a semi-rebrand or reboot, not only of the podcast, but how this business operates from here. Me, too.

Rebranding isn’t just about a color palette or typography: it involves soul. Integrity. And, sometimes, sheer determination.

Considering the Path Forward

As I’ve been transforming in life and business, I’ve recognized the importance of focusing on what sings to me. For the longest time, I’d tell clientele and customers to navigate what sings to them, but I thought I knew what stirred me.

I wasn’t wrong, but it was time to dig into it further.

I identify as a 2SLGBTQ+ woman, and that is who I want to work with. More specifically, I believe that creativity can and will, if given the chance, change this world.

Now, we creatives are more than “just” creative. We’re intuitive, problem solvers, dreamers, change makers, and have an ever-changing community, like so many other circles.

And it’s time that we find our muse, express our gifts with authenticity, and inspire and validate our customers, who will also change this world.

Sound a little idealistic? That’s fine. I know that we can do this together, as Sapphic/2SLGBTQ+ creators, with an abundance of strengths and visions.
